For 2022, Tohatsu’s 5hp outboard motor delivers outstanding fuel economy and reliability second to none. The new MFS5DL comes equipped with the newly designed top and bottom cowls based on Tohatsu Design Philosophy for Marine Products, 3-way storage positions without worrying about oil spill, ultra-low emission, EPA and CARB 3-Star rating approved, and the newly designed Tohatsu unique front and back carrying handles for easier transportation.The Tohatsu MFS5DL also comes equipped with the 20 inch long shaft and is a great source of portable power for jon boats, skiffs, drift boats and inflatables, as well as auxiliary power for sailboats and “kickers” for larger fishing boats. The Tohatsu 5hp outboard engine shares many 4hp features with the added benefit of a larger carburetor and propeller for increased performance. Fuel is delivered via a portable 3.1 gallon external fuel tank and fuel line (included).
